Today, I was experimenting with using a typewritten screen made of tracing paper, which was in the camera when I took the photo.
I think the technique shows some promise!

Did you place the tracing paper directly on top of the photo paper? Thanks for sharing. Also did you print the words on a laser or inkjet printer?
Cool idea! I'm surprised the tracing paper didn't wreck the definition. Could do all kinds of stuff. I might try with some hieroglyphs...
