In the Youtube video showing Pinsta being used in Cardiff dockside, he points his camera at a shiny bollard for ten second before taking his photo. That gives a rough idea. I tried pointing my camera straight up at the sky for 10 seconds which made my dark areas better but still washed out the bright areas. I need to experiment.
@robinhj yeah someone r we lose posted that the little diffuser on. The camera gave a vignette pre flash so not so sure , the paper needs an even pre flash , so time to do some investigating
Love it Ian! Flashing the paper a bit can reduce contrast. It helps a lot with self portraits if you have something to lean your head against. This was about 70 seconds I think.
how long to flash for tho Oliver , I have a led torch , any guidance ?

Selfie on a pinhole , 7 minute exposure outside , really hard to keep still but I quite like the result
