Turns out that you can shoot sheet film in a pinsta as well as paper. Development is a bit blotchy for me, but could probably be improved by changing my method a bit. Using massively expired film probably doesn't help much, either. Things to look out for are: 1. Pre-soak the film to make the development more even 2. It's tricky to get the film out of the base after processing. 3. The anti-halation layer doesn't get washed off because it doesn't get wet, so you need to do that afterwards. 4. Make sure there's enough active developer solution in the syringe for the area being developed. I had to increase the strength of my #510pyro by about 50%, to about 1:70 to be sure. I kept processing time the same (about 7 mins).
5. Watch out for reciprocity failure. It's much more severe than for paper.
Could you not shoot the film on the Box then remove it to develop it normally once home to get better results or would that go against the point of the camera. Has anyone any approx numbers for maybe shooting FP4 or Delta sheet film ?
