Hello,
My name is Manuel, and my english is quite bad, sorry.
I'm waiting to arrive my Pinsta camera. And start playing with it. I have only experience in digital photography and none in analogic and pinhole photography, and i have many doubts, i would like someone to help me. In Pinsta videos they always use Harman Direct Positive paper. Can normal laboratory paper be used? In that case, what would be the development process in the Pinsta camera? And the final result of the photo compared to the same photo made with HPD paper? The equivalent ISO HDP is more or less 3-6? There are others Positive Direct Paper with higher ISO? Is it possible too do photos with negative film? In that case, what would be the development process in the Pinsta camera?
Mani tks for your help.

Hello Manuel - Welcome to the Pinsta community! I hope I can help with some of your questions.
Normal darkroom paper can be used. If you develop it normally, it will give you a black and white negative. You could then make a contact print to give you a BW positive print.
It is also possible to "reversal" process the paper, and I hope to publish an article on the method for this soon.
You can use RA4 colour darkroom paper to make colour reversal prints, too, and I have an article on 35mmc explaining the method for this.
I don't believe there are any other direct positive papers available with higher ISO, but film is certainly possible with some care. I made a post in this forum showing my method a little while ago :)
Feel free to reach out for any help!
