Hi everyone, I was gifted the Kickstarter set and have been VERY excited to start using this little camera. It took me a while to get all the chemicals and paper shipped to me in the middle of nowhere. But! I pulled off my first shot and GOOD GRIEF is it rough. (But that's part of the process, right? ;) ) I know about pre-flashing for darkroom printing and I was spoiled in my past with access to an amazing darkroom with a little set--up for it. But that's definitely not this situation.... I was hoping someone could help me understand how to go about Pre-Flashing for my direct positive paper? Is this something done before I go out to shoot or can it be done on the go as well? (Allowing for adaptations to lighting situations, etc.) Thanks so much for your help. :)

I don't have a darkroom as such, but my downstairs toilet is dark enough. After a bit of trial and error I have found that if I put the paper on the floor and hold an LED torch above my head and turn it on and off very quickly this gives enough pre-flash to reduce the contrast of my images.
