Hi! I've tried, it works (although I tried reverse processing it, which didn't get me nice results). Make sure that when you load the glass plate into the camera, you light seal the part where the body meets the back, as no light at all should fall on the outer edges of the glass as that will "leak" to the rest of the glass. I used black tape all around the camera.
I used a J Lane dry plate with good results. Unlike Martin, I didn't need to tape the sides up, but it probably would've been a good idea :)
